Polycarbonate Microwave Non-Staining Plate Cover

Polycarbonate is a superb material for microwave cookware. It's tough, non stick, odour resistant and non staining. Unlike glass and ceramics it is almost completely transparent to microwaves and therefore food cooks faster and more evenly. As it has an extremely low thermal conductivity it also stays much cooler than glass and ceramics.

We hate using cling film in the microwave because it gets so hot and messy that it really stops you checking food or stirring regularly. The worst thing of all to use cling film for is covering a plate when you want to reheat a meal. What a palaver!
